Art and Soul is a web based media project which shares stories of Sydney- based artists and the meaning of art in their lives.  From dancers through to drag queens, writers, musicians, poets and painters we will share their personal stories and passion of their work. 

We will use a website and blogging structure and find a unique medium and composition for each artists story using photography, writing, video, audio and other digital tools and technology.  

This project will probably appeal to 25 – 55 year olds, living in Sydney, with an interest in art and culture.  There is also scope for artists from other places to share their story.  

We will build the foundations of this project over the next 13 weeks but with the opportunity for it to continue after that.  

We will use social media to build up our audience and encourage people to join our site.  Once the site is established there is the potential to build an app and deliver a weekly interview which our audience can access via the app or through the website.  We can also experiment with different digital and web tools to incorporate into the stories.
